You can not learn to rely on God alone by standing safely on the shore under a sunny sky.
You only learn by being thrown in a stormy ocean with no swimming skills, no life vest and no boat nearby to pull you out off the water.
'Cause only then, when you cannot depend on your own skills or material means or people to save you, you truly realize your salvation is through God only.
'Cause He is the true life vest and through Him alone you can truly be rescued.
Only then will you experience a glimpse of Tawheed.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenOnce when I was about 14-15 years old, I had a teacher at school who was an athiest. She claimed that she never believed in God and that she never needed His help. So I asked her "what if your child is in danger and you are not capable of helping him? what do you do?" she replied "I just hope that he will be all right"...
I felt like her reply was so depressing.. Probably even to herself..
But I tried again...
"Imagine yourself hanging from a cliff and there is no one there to help you.. Isn't you first thought 'Og GOD help me!?"... She then ignored my question....
Subhan Allah, people without believ are depressed and lonely... No hope, not joy in life.. nothing..
