Embrace the fall (Poem)

Don’t try to stand,
When life knocks you down,
Don’t reach out your hand,
In your way to the ground.
Embrace the fall,
Breathe in the air of defeat,
While on that stone-cold flour you crawl,
To seek out that which you desperately need.
For it’s only in this place,
That you will learn,
The power of His Grace,
That you after all still earn.
Broken on the ground,
Shattered to your core,
That’s how humility is found.
And His Forgiveness even more.
So embrace the fall,
You will rise higher if you do,
‘cause He answers the caller when he calls,
and always pulls him through.
